Privacy and Data Policy
Latham & Neve is committed to protecting your privacy and data. The information we collect is in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018 and the Electronic Communications Regulations 2003.
Who are we?
Latham & Neve have been in the forefront of British jewellery for over 20 years since Anna Latham and Helen Neve met at Medway College of Art and Design. We are members of the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ). Our aim is to provide a personal service to our clients whether that be in the purchasing of a special piece of jewellery, bespoke commission or repair of an existing piece of our work. Part of providing this service involves collecting data from our clients. We do this to refer back to previous purchases and repairs to develop a better understanding of our customers' needs and to aid any future work.
What information do we collect?
When you purchase something from Latham & Neve online or over the phone as part of the buying process, we collect the personal information you give us. When you browse our online shop, we also receive your computer's internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. The information we hold about you may include:
• Your name
• Postal address
• Telephone number
• Email address
• Previous purchases
• Previous repairs
• Your preferences for how you would like to be communicated with about our work
We maintain a record of items you have bought but we never store your payment card number.
How do we use your data?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase or exchange or repair, we have a legitimate interest in collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason such as marketing, we will either ask you directly for your explicit consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no. You have the right to withdraw this information at any time.
With your permission, we may send you our email newsletter and postal brochure (with our new collection). Emails are on average once a month and more frequent during peak shopping times. We will never bombard you, it's not our style! Our brochure is sent only once a year.
How do I withdraw my consent?

We do not sell or share your information with any third-party providers. However, we do use third-parties to process payments and for email marketing. We have agreements in place with each provider to ensure that your date is secure and cannot be accessed or used for any other purpose.
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
The third parties we use are:
• Mailchimp www.mailchimp.com
• Worldpay www.worldpay.com
Worldpay is a direct payment gateway which we use for you to complete your purchase if using a credit or debit card. Worldpay stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa and MasterCard. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. For more insight, you may also want to read Worldpay's Terms of Service or Privacy Statement.
